Our 5000 square foot sports medicine center is equipped with the latest technology and equipment, enabling us to provide high-quality care primarily for patients with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists dedicated to fostering a caring and supportive environment that promotes healing and recovery.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires your presence on-site at our modern facility. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will be part of a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), where teamwork and communication are essential for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and exercises to promote self-management.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment regimens as necessary, and document all care and services provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Motivate and inspire patients during their rehabilitation journey to foster a positive environment for recovery.
• Encourage a holistic approach to health by promoting wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves orthopedic patients, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. You will engage with individuals aiming for rapid rehabilitation to return to their daily activities. Your role will involve developing personalized wellness programs that address the unique challenges and goals of each patient, aligning with their lifestyle and functional needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is necessary for this position.
• Must have a clean record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and conducting comprehensive exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
