Work Environment

This position is onsite, offering a direct interaction with patients in a home care setting, which allows for personalized treatment in a comfortable and familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition to identify the root causes of pain and mobility impairments.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that may include a mixture of hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address specific orthopedic issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
• Provide education to patients on proper body mechanics, preventive measures, rehabilitation strategies, and lifestyle changes to enhance recovery.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share vital information that influences treatment decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work extensively with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to athletes recovering from sports injuries. You will have the opportunity to foster long-term relationships with patients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and celebrating their progress toward restored function and mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy is required.
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills enabling the development of positive relationships with patients and staff.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving paired with a willingness to partner with colleagues for best patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
