Account Executive Director, Insurance

About The Role Socure is seeking a high‑performing Account Executive Director, Insurance, to drive strategic growth across one of our newest verticals, the insurance industry. As an Account Executive, you’ll own a greenfield territory and lead high‑impact sales efforts for our AI‑powered identity and fraud solutions. This is a rare opportunity to help shape market adoption in a category‑defining company. Due to the nature of the client base, this role is only available for candidates in one of our hub locations: New York, NY; Washington, DC; or Charlotte, NC. What You’ll Do Lead growth across both greenfield opportunities and existing accounts, developing expansion strategies that deepen product adoption and maximize account value. Manage full‑cycle sales—from prospecting to close—targeting high‑value SaaS deals with innovative, fast‑growing companies. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound efforts and executive‑level engagement. Align complex technical solutions with customer needs in fraud, analytics, and digital identity. Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align on customer needs and influence the product roadmap. Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts and support strategic planning. Represent Socure at industry events and deepen client relationships through in‑person meetings as needed. What You Bring 7–9+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, with a consistent record of closing large, complex deals. Experience selling identity verification, fraud prevention, or related risk management solutions. Demonstrated success in one or more key verticals, such as financial services. Ability to drive value‑based conversations and craft tailored solutions for C‑level stakeholders. Background selling fraud, identity, big data, or security solutions in highly technical environments. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building scalable processes in high‑growth settings. Bonus Points Strong network within relevant vertical markets.
