Medical Receptionist - Full Time

Since 1992, ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance has built a reputation for delivering outstanding patient care for an exceptional team of clinicians. As Southern California's leading provider of quality hands-on care and customized therapeutic exercise programs, our team's focus is to treat the whole patient, including prevention and wellness. Currently, we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Laguna Hills location. Schedule needed: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm *Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred but not required ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
⢠Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
⢠Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
⢠Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
⢠Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group ⢠Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
⢠Scheduling patientâs initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
⢠Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus
⢠Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
⢠Ability to maintain confidential documents
⢠Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
⢠Possess strong team player attributes
⢠Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients near by Education and Experience
Education : High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
Experience : Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
