Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing effective therapeutic methods to meet clients' needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based strategies tailored to the client’s unique situations and goals.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy, as appropriate.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment updates, adhering to all state and federal regulations.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide clients with resources and referrals to additional community services, enhancing their overall support system.

• Engage in regular professional development and continuing education to stay current with therapeutic trends and practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, emphasizing therapy for individuals, couples, and families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
