Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required. License: Must hold a valid nursing license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Candidates with only 1 year of experience will need profile review by the manager. Some weekends required. Float within the organization is required. Call required. Description: This is a night position in a mixed-acuity unit. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with chronic medical conditions. Travelers should be comfortable working in a progressive care environment. Candidates with Med/Surg experience may be considered based on needs and experience. Core staff will support patients requiring Progressive Care Unit-level care. Travelers are expected to float to different units within the organization as needed. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for interdisciplinary support. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract. Professional references are required, including a manager or supervisor. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
