Property Accountant

We are partnering with a real estate company in Quincy, MA area who is looking to add a Property Accountant to their team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of properties, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations while partnering closely with property management teams. Responsibilities Manage the accounting for an assigned portfolio of properties Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts Review and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit support Work closely with property managers to resolve accounting issues Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2-4+ years of property accounting experience Strong month-end close and General Ledger experience Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting Property accounting experience preferred but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Compensation: $75K-$90K depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Roessel Joy
