Highlights of the Property Accountant Opportunity:

- Opportunity to own a portfolio of properties and grow within the organization
- Prepare monthly financial statements for an assigned portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties
- Complete month-end close including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Review CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease-related accounting
- Partner with property managers on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Assist with annual audits, budgeting, and process improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in property or real estate accounting
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or another property management ERP is a plus
- Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
