Clinical Nurse - High-Risk Cardiology (Day Shift)

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedural care. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on managing illness, medications, and post-treatment needs. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Participate in professional development and ensure effective communication across care continuum. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training are valued. Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness.
