Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to own key accounting functions, support financial reporting, and partner with leadership to drive informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic business initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Assist with audits and coordinate requests from external auditors. Monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures. Review operational processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase efficiency. Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams on financial initiatives and special projects. Assist with cash management, treasury activities, and financial planning efforts. Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
