Banquet Chef

We are seeking a senior-level Banquet Chef for a full time position in Biloxi, MS.
The Banquet Chef leads high‑volume, upscale banquet operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. This includes overseeing culinary execution, food quality, cost control, and team leadership for events such as conventions, weddings, corporate functions, and VIP gatherings. The role also manages menu review, recipe preparation, ordering, production, and presentation of all banquet food, while supervising and developing the banquet culinary team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and oversee all menu items for banquet events
- Order and manage all food products for banquet functions
- Ensure quality, consistency, and proper quantity of all banquet food
- Lead and develop the banquet culinary team (Sous Chef, Cooks, Steward)
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards
- Oversee preventive and repair maintenance for banquet kitchen equipment
- Manage food and labor costs while supporting seamless execution of large‑scale events
Ideal Qualifications:
- 10+ years of culinary experience in a similar leadership role
- Proven success managing high‑volume banquet operations
- Background in a luxury hotel, resort, convention center, or similar environment
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and screening process
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience, education/certifications, and skills
