Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive and holistic client care.

• Document all therapy sessions accurately in accordance with regulatory guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health and integrate new methodologies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients experiencing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
