Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to reach and assist patients from the comfort of their homes. You will have the flexibility of a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for some scheduling flexibility based on patient needs. This innovative telehealth model allows you to develop lasting therapeutic relationships while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of patients and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies to enhance clients’ coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups designed to promote mental wellness and provide a platform for shared experiences and peer support.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists, ensuring coordinated care that holistically addresses patients' mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in acute distress, utilizing your skills to stabilize and guide them toward appropriate resources.

• Educate clients about mental health conditions and treatment options, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines to ensure quality patient care and effective communication within the team.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative care and foster professional growth.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Skilled in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries in all interactions.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and record-keeping.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy to a varied client population.

Compensation and Benefits\n
