BIM Coordinator

Job Description CMTA (formerly AMA Group), a Legence company, is seeking a BIM Coordinator for its offices in New York City and Los Angeles. Role Responsibilities As a BIM Coordinator for CMTA, you will assist the BIM team in project setups and updates in Autodesk Revit for a variety of projects. Specific duties include: Set up MEP Revit models in alignment with AMA BIM standards using AMA templates Provide technical support and mentoring to the project team Help develop and maintain BIM automation tools to increase internal efficiency Ensure changes in procedures and standards are effectively communicated to project teams Audit Revit models and families frequently and troubleshoot issues Create and develop discipline‑specific BIM modeling content Work with Project Managers to meet project deadlines Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Revit project setups and updates Understanding of Revit families, parameters, schedules, and systems Knowledge of Autodesk BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud / Design Collaboration Experience with clash detection in Navisworks and Autodesk BIM Model Coordination Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe PDF Specific Skills Ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment High attention to detail Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with logical prioritization of tasks Effective teamwork and independent work while managing multiple projects Benefits Overview Competitive benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match, health & welfare coverage, life and disability insurance, flexible time off, and expense reimbursement.
