Position Overview

We invite you to join our dedicated team of imaging professionals as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct precise diagnostic examinations, work cohesively with an encouraging clinical team, and provide comfort to patients seeking answers through your expertise.

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform an array of ultrasound evaluations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during assessments, explaining the processes with empathy and clarity
• Work in unison with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imagery
• Administer and uphold imaging equipment, addressing any issues promptly
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Remain informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and industry standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical competency in sonographic imaging methodologies and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
