Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid special education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in the state of Washington
- Familiarity with elementary-level Life Skills programs and a passion for individualized, student-centered instruction
- Previous experience in special education classrooms, preferably serving students with diverse abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Your Role Includes:
- Creating, adapting, and implementing effective lesson plans tailored to students’ unique learning needs and IEP goals
- Collaborating with fellow educators, paraeducators, families, and specialists to foster the best outcomes for each child
- Managing classroom behavior in supportive and proactive ways
- Assessing student progress, maintaining documentation, and contributing to IEP meetings and planning
- Promoting a safe, welcoming classroom environment for all learners
