Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Home Health in Maine. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services to adult patients with post-surgical, fall risk, deconditioning, and mobility issues. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including traditional 8-hour days or four 10-hour shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the option for four 10-hour shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Maine state license, drivers license, car, auto insurance, BLS certification, at least 1 year of experience (preferably in Home Health).
• Patient Types and Common Diagnoses: Mostly adult patients, with rare cases involving school-aged children; cases include post-orthopedic surgeries, post-surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues.
• Support within the Department: Scheduler and leader available via phone.
• Technology/Equipment: EMR system in use is Netsmart.
• Floating: Coverage area includes Aroostook County, covering travel between 50-100 miles daily.
• Orientation: 1-2 weeks of facility and unit orientation.
• Scheduling and Holidays: Weekend rotation approximately once every 4-6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday; available to work all holidays, including 6 major holidays and minor holidays, with a 50% holiday rotation.
• Additional Notes: Scrubs should be business casual or solid-colored. The position is part of the SimpliFi Travel program.
