Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have required certifications included in submission packet. Candidates without specified skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The Rapid Response Nurse will work within an intensive care setting. This role involves providing immediate care for patients in critical condition. Candidates must be experienced with equipment such as balloon pumps and CRRT. The nurse will assist in procedures such as heart catheterizations, cardioversion, and medication drips. Patient ratios are 1:2, maintaining a high standard of patient care. A positive attitude and engagement are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate should be driven, organized, and efficient. Experience with Meditech is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
