Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Detail in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. This is an armed post. As part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will deliver with teamwork and act with integrity every day.

Monday 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
Tuesday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Wednesday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Thursday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and public activity, reporting unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear and timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily observations while supporting requested assistance from site personnel and public-facing operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Must possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
