Expressive Arts TherapistLancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women's trauma unit.Expressive Arts Therapists are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:Develop and implement expressive therapy treatment plans that are age appropriate, and consistent with overall treatment goals.Facilitates patient groups that are well prepared and beneficial to clients.Maintain the clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services.Consistently engages and interacts with our patients and their families by using the treatment principles of Trauma Responsive Care.Effectively contribute to treatment planning of patients.Effectively contribute to discharge planning of patients.What do our current staff value at LBHH? An opportunity to make a difference every single day.Qualifications What Does LBHH Require for this Role? Licensure: Masters level Music Therapy and Recreational Therapy preferred. Registered and /or Board Certified Art Therapy or Registered Dance Movement therapy preferred. Education: Master's Degree in Art Therapy or Dance Movement. Bachelor's Degree with Board Certification in Music Therapy or Recreational Therapy.
