Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality therapy to clients through telehealth platforms, including individual, group, and family sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and engage in effective therapeutic interventions.

• Document session progress and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support clients in overcoming challenges and achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Actively participate in treatment team meetings alongside Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals to discuss client cases and share insights.

• Stay updated on relevant mental health best practices and participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Access Healthcare, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents, many of whom are dealing with complex emotional and relational issues. The aim is to create a safe and empathetic environment where clients feel validated and empowered to pursue healing and improvement in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in California.

• Demonstrated experience (minimum of two years) delivering direct patient therapy in a medical or clinical setting.

• Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of therapeutic theories and interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present information clearly to varied audiences.

• Organizational skills to manage client schedules and documentation efficiently.
\n
• Commitment to respecting confidentiality and patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms for delivery of therapy services.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
