Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting initial assessments and therapy sessions via telehealth and in-person settings.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate effective therapy outcomes.

• Regularly collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
\n
• Actively participating in professional development opportunities and staying updated with mental health best practices.
\n
• Providing culturally sensitive therapy that respects each client’s background, family dynamics, and personal experiences.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client sessions using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.

• Working with insurance panels as an in-network provider, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources.

• Upholding all confidentiality requirements according to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds. The clinic's focus encompasses areas such as trauma recovery, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and perinatal mental health, ensuring that you have the opportunity to work in your area of specialization while also expanding your skill set and experience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.
\n
• Strong bilingual (Spanish and English) communication skills to effectively connect with a diverse client base.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with families and various age groups in a behavioral health context.

• Respect for and sensitivity towards cultural differences and individual customs.
\n
• Strong motivation to enhance therapeutic skills in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' needs.

• Valid driver’s license and car insurance necessary for potential in-person sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are desirable:

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, inclusive of a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
