Experienced Bookkeeper

Join this Central-Omaha located blue collar business in this key role. This stable and successful company is searching for an experienced bookkeeper to step into a mission critical position. This business experiences a high volume of transactions and this individual will be the glue that holds everything accounting-focused together, allowing the business to run smoothly. Our client is seeking a knowledgeable, detailed and focused individual who enjoys working with down to earth, hard-working / "no fluff" employees who may appear to be rough around the edges but are fantastic people to work with.

Responsibilities include:

• Take ownership for all daily bookkeeping in Sage including booking transactions, journal entries and running financial statements
• Ensure that accounts payable is paid timely and verify vendor invoices
• Track inventory as well as all new equipment purchase and sales is tracked accurately
• Assist with accounts receivable and perform daily sales reconciliation
• Assist with other office duties as needed in this small business where everyone rolls up the sleeves and likes to get stuff done
