Long Field House Pay Grade Professional Job Description College of Human Sciences & Education Office of Financial Services Business Manager. This position serves as a college-level business manager, responsible for the financial management of the college's unrestricted and restricted accounts, including accounts receivables and tuition/billing for the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool. Responsibilities 40% Finance/Account Management: Manage all financial functions for LSU Online, Summer Term, four Centers & Institutes, Professorships, Foundation accounts, and Residential College; reconcile state unrestricted accounts/budget, LAA+, IC… 35% College Support Services: Business manager for the Dean's Administrative Support offices; primary procurement agent for the College, handling requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts; process spend authorizations and expense reports for Dean's units; update asset management reports. 10% Pre-College Support: Business and cost center manager for the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool. 10% Scholarships: Work with Development and Student Services to establish scholarships, designate recipients, process/track payments, reconcile scholarship accounts, and maintain scholarship database. 5% Other duties assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience, or equivalent experience without a degree. Experience in key job responsibilities. Access to/direct handling of cash and funds. Financial history/credit check per FASOP HR-04. Must pass mandatory background and credit check.
