Salesforce Developer III

Role Description

Labcorp is seeking a remote Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team!

Work Schedule: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a Second Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Team Development and Mentorship: Mentor and support junior/salesforce developers.
• Technical Oversight:
  • Design and develop customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura).
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable architecture.
  • Implement Lightning Experience enhancements and modern UI/UX designs.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing (minimum 75% coverage), and deployment using CI/CD tools.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams including product management, operations, and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Delivery and Operations:
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and web services.
  • Build and optimize custom objects, workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and Flow.
  • Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and ensure system performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with admins, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security, and governance standards.
  • Support releases, production deployments, and post-production validation.
• Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform innovation and continuous improvement efforts within the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• 3 or more years of experience in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex), Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs and integrations.
• 4 or more years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other clouds.
• 2 or more years of experience in data modeling, security model, and sharing rules.
• 2 or more years of experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, Git).
• 2 or more years of experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• 2 or more years of experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

Requirements

• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps Center, DX, and scratch orgs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Exposure to Einstein Analytics, Experience Cloud, or CPQ.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of data migration and ETL tools.
