Employee Relations Consultant

UNC Charlotte is hiring an Employee Relations Consultant. This position manages daily employee relations functions, coaches managers on performance and disciplinary matters, conducts investigations, facilitates conflict resolution, and supports strengthening workplace culture and practices. Highlights Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters, including complaint intake and resolution. Coach and advise managers on disciplinary actions up to termination. Conduct investigations and grievance processes, preparing summaries and reports. Manage cases using Salesforce Case Management and Ticketing system. Perform administrative tasks, including answering calls and generating operational reports. Require bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology, organizational development, or related field plus at least two years HR experience, or equivalent combination. Preferred four+ years of employee relations experience with disciplinary matters, investigations, and mediation. Preferred experience managing 15 employee relations cases simultaneously and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred certification: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or other HR-related certifications.
