Associate Golf Professional

Kissing Tree Golf Club is seeking an Associate Golf Professional! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Teach the fundamentals of the golf swing as established by the Director of Instruction Participate in designing and implementing ideas to promote golf instruction and bring in additional revenues to the club Help to maintain general upkeep of the driving range, lesson tee and storage shed Maintain range set-up and equipment Perform all club golf activities including junior golf clinics Assist in the development of qualified and certified assistants Educate teaching staff throughout the golf season with monthly clinics and/or roundtable sessions Coordinate and teach clinics on a weekly basis Act as a liaison between Golf Digest and the Club regarding golf school schedules, needs, and equipment Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all teaching aids on property including video equipment Assist the Director of Instruction with Golf Digest Schools and Troon Institute Assist in the creation of lesson plans Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands: Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms. Frequently talks or hears, tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: Class A member of PGA/LPGA. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associate is required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for the equipment the associate may use are in English) Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Experience with computerized POS and tee time system PGA of America Member or Associate preferred.
