Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

• Implement treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.

• Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.

• Assist with preparing therapy materials and activities.

• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.

• Follow all state and district guidelines for SLPA practice.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or Communication Sciences and Disorders (depending on state requirements).

• Active Florida SLPA license (or ability to obtain before the start date).

• School-based experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
