Employment Duration: 2-year commitment

Shift: Days, full-time, 8 hours per day

Hours/week: 40+

Employment Type: Permanent, W-2

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Michigan state license, BLS certification

Experience: At least 1 year preferred in outpatient therapy

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $37.00+ based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (subject to terms)

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patient function through tests to determine physical status
• Develop customized treatment plans based on assessments
• Implement treatment regimes including modalities, exercises, and education
• Adjust plans of care as patient conditions evolve
• Supervise and collaborate with PT assistants, aides, and students
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options
• Document patient progress and treatment for billing and regulatory compliance
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Support community outreach and promote therapy services within the facility and local area
• Serve as case manager for assigned cases and participate in team meetings

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Michigan PT license
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of outpatient therapy experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience in acute care settings
• Knowledge of current therapy standards and documentation practices
