Temporary Accounts Receivable & Collections SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a medical leave. This role requires a professional who thrives in a high-volume environment, can work independently, oversee the quality of others' work, and quickly identify solutions to complex accounting and collections challenges.Key Responsibilities:Manage a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio and collection activitiesPerform payment application and cash posting with a high degree of accuracyMonitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balancesResearch and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and account issuesReconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records within the ERP systemSupport and oversee the accuracy of AR-related work performed by team members, providing guidance as neededCollaborate with internal departments and external customers to resolve billing and payment issuesAnalyze trends, identify process improvements, and implement effective solutionsGenerate and maintain reports using advanced Excel functionsQualifications:5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable and Collections experienceProven experience working in a high-volume transaction environmentStrong background in payment application and cash postingExperience utilizing ERP systems for accounts receivable functionsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis, and reportingDemonstrated ability to review, coordinate, and oversee the work of othersStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetExcellent computer, system navigation, and data management skillsStrong communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to work onsite in Valencia, CA for the duration of the assignmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environmentAbility to quickly learn new systems and processesStrong customer service and relationship management skillsWhy Apply?Opportunity to make an immediate impact during a critical coverage periodCollaborative and supportive team environmentCompetitive hourly compensationPotential for assignment extension based on business needsIf you are an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with strong collections expertise, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while providing leadership and oversight, we encourage you to apply.Benefits include: Medical, Sick Pay, 401kPay range $30-32/hr
