Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans
- Develop and update treatment and discharge plans to help patients improve daily living skills
- Document patient progress accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
- Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as per practice acts and facility policies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to create holistic care plans
- Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and facility standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one before start)
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Passion for helping others achieve independence in daily living
Education
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) from an accredited program
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Occupational therapy interventions for daily living skills
- Accurate clinical documentation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and family education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
