We are currently seeking a Salesforce Development Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Scope of Services

•  Design, develop, test, and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, scheduled Apex, and batch Apex.

•  Support and enhance existing Salesforce applications and platform capabilities.

•  Design and implement inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, Platform Events, External Services, and data synchronization patterns.

•  Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

•  Lead or contribute to technical design reviews, architecture discussions, solution walkthroughs, and implementation planning.

•  Apply DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code-quality controls, security scanning, monitoring, and secure coding standards.

•  Troubleshoot production incidents and resolve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and integration issues.

•  Create and maintain technical designs, implementation documentation, deployment artifacts, and operational support materials.

•  Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and promote Salesforce engineering best practices.

Required Technical Capabilities

•  Advanced hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, triggers, classes, batch jobs, and scheduled jobs.

•  Working knowledge of Aura, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), as applicable.

•  Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, sharing, profiles, permission sets, encryption, monitoring, and security controls.

•  Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services, API-first design, and enterprise integration patterns.

•  Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms and cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, and third-party solutions.

•  Experience with Salesforce DX, Azure DevOps, Gearset, Git, SonarQube, Checkmarx, or comparable DevOps and quality-engineering tools.

•  Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Required Experience

•  Seven or more years of Salesforce platform experience.

•  Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

•  Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise Salesforce implementations and integrations.

•  Experience supporting production Salesforce environments and application modernization initiatives.

Education and Language Preferences

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

•  Written and verbal English proficiency required.

•  Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency preferred.

Preferred Salesforce Certifications

•  Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator

•  Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

•  Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

•  Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

•  Salesforce Certified Application Architect

AI-Assisted Software Development

•  Use approved AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor to accelerate solution design, Apex and Lightning Web Components development, Flow and integration implementation, unit-test creation, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.

•  Use AI assistance to understand existing code, evaluate implementation options, identify edge cases, generate test scaffolding, and improve developer productivity, while independently validating every output before use.

•  Review AI-generated or AI-modified code for correctness, security, privacy, Salesforce governor limits, performance, accessibility, maintainability, licensing, and alignment with enterprise architecture and coding standards.

•  Follow enterprise policies for approved tools, confidential information, customer data, proprietary source code, credentials, prompt handling, intellectual property, secure development, and responsible AI use.

•  Maintain human accountability through peer review, automated testing, traceability, and documented validation of AI-assisted production changes.

•  Production-ready Salesforce features and enhancements that meet approved requirements and acceptance criteria.

•  Secure, reliable, and maintainable integrations with appropriate error handling and monitoring.

•  Technical design, architecture, configuration, and implementation documentation.

•  Automated tests, deployment packages, pipeline updates, and code-quality evidence.

•  Timely production support, root-cause analysis, and defect resolution.

•  Knowledge transfer and operational documentation for ongoing support teams.

•  AI-assisted engineering artifacts that are human-reviewed and meet approved security, quality, testing, and compliance standards.
