Human Resources Administrative Assistant

$20 per hour
Randstad is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Assistant for a 90-day contract for our healthcare industry client.  This position is 100% in the office located in the East End. In this position, you will directly support the HR team by coordinating the initial stages of the employee lifecycle, from the first welcome email to final compliance tracking. Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role. Experience in higher education, healthcare, or a medical school setting is a major plus.
  • Proven experience handling Form I-9 verification and managing sensitive, confidential data (HIPAA/FERPA awareness preferred).
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Communications: Draft and send professional, welcoming onboarding communications to new hires; serve as a primary point of contact for onboarding questions.
  • Compliance & I-9 Verification: Review, verify, and process Form I-9 documentation via E-Verify within strict regulatory timelines.
  • Credential Tracking: Meticulously track, log, and verify professional medical licenses, certifications, and renewals for faculty and clinical staff to ensure total institutional compliance.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate digital employee files, assist with background check tracking, and provide general administrative support to the HR Talent Solutions team.
