Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support the well-being of students in a school setting through compassionate nursing care and clinical expertise. A rewarding opportunity is available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the educational environment. This contract opportunity involves serving elementary-aged students and collaborating closely with school staff to ensure students’ health and safety.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time option: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Part-time option: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday)
• Additional part-time: 1 day per week (Monday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and document all health-related activities
• Provide direct support and general office assistance within the school health office
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, and provide interventions as needed
• Respond promptly to student health concerns, injuries, and emergencies
• Support office operations and collaborate with school personnel to promote a healthy learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records and adhere to privacy/confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN or LVN license
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
