Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Expand your nursing career in a dynamic K-12 academic environment supporting students' well-being and health needs. Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) are needed for contract roles specializing in school-based nursing. Multiple scheduling options are available to accommodate different preferences:

Schedule Options:

• Full-time: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, primarily office-based with medication administration duties.
• Part-time: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday), focusing on monitoring a diabetic student and providing general office support. (No 1:1 assignments required; available as needed for medication administration.)
• Limited part-time: 1 day per week (Monday), covering office support and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily and as-needed medications to students.
• Monitor students with chronic health conditions such as diabetes and provide timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of health records and medication logs.
• Offer first aid care and respond promptly to minor injuries and health concerns.
• Serve as a reliable resource to faculty and staff for student health issues.
• Support an inclusive environment focused on student safety, privacy, and respect.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid California LVN or LPN License.
• CPR certification required.
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in urgent situations.
• Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.
