Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support the well-being of students by providing essential nursing care in a school setting. This contract opportunity seeks skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to assist students and staff with medication administration, office support, and health monitoring duties.

Openings are available for three different scheduling needs:

• Full-time: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week—focus on office support and medication administration.
• Part-time: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday)—monitoring diabetic students and general office support (not a 1:1 role).
• Part-time: 1 day per week (Monday)—assist with office support and medication administration.

Desired qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered LVN or LPN license.
• School-based nursing experience preferred, but similar pediatric or community health backgrounds also considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to student care.
• Proficiency in medication administration and basic clinical skills.
• Organized and dependable, able to support health office operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and provide basic nursing interventions for students.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking the health needs of students, particularly managing chronic conditions such as diabetes.
• Deliver office support, including maintaining records, responding to student and staff health needs, and supporting school health initiatives.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote a safe, healthy environment.
