Continuous Improvement ManagerThe Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading ASC's Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy and driving measurable operational results across the organization. This role partners closely with manufacturing and operations leadership to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve productivity, and strengthen processes through Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and structured problem-solving methodologies.This is a highly visible leadership role that focuses on building a culture of continuous improvement while empowering team members at all levels to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement sustainable solutions. Success in this role will be measured through improvements in productivity, labor efficiency, cycle times, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead ASC's Continuous Improvement program, ensuring alignment with company goals, strategic initiatives, and operational prioritiesPartner with manufacturing and operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity gains, and cost reductionLead and facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and structured problem-solving initiativesUtilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other CI methodologies to drive data-based decision-making and measurable business resultsAnalyze current processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop sustainable solutions that improve operational performanceTrain, coach, and mentor team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniquesWork hands-on with production teams to implement process changes and reinforce best practices on the manufacturing floorDevelop communication strategies that build awareness, engagement, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives across the organizationEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts and overall program successPresent project updates, results, and recommendations to plant leadership and senior managementPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous learningSupport all shifts as needed to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of CI initiativesDrive labor efficiency improvements through process optimization, workflow design, and strategic capital investment opportunitiesEnsure all improvement activities support ASC's commitments to safety, quality, and customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience consideredMinimum of 5 years of experience leading or implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environmentExperience in an engineer-to-order, fabrication, industrial, or manufacturing operation preferredLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement certification strongly preferredDemonstrated success leading process improvement projects that produce measurable operational resultsStrong knowledge of Lean principles, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen facilitation, and change managementAbility to collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to drive decision-making and action planningStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams across multiple departments and organizational levelsExceptional presentation, communication, facilitation, and training skillsSelf-starter with a passion for problem-solving and organizational improvementStrong project management, organization, and time management skillsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCommitment to safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellencePhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teamsAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments and improvement activitiesAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsAbility to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to facilitate improvement initiativesAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environmentsCore ValuesSafety – Continuous focus on the culture necessary to achieve an Injury-Free workplace.Integrity – Act ethically and transparently in all business and personnel dealings.
