STARTING SALARY : $1,780.37 Bi-Weekly. Position will be hired at the minimum of the class. (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee's current rate, whichever is higher.)

DESCRIPTION :

This position will assist with contract management activities. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Conduct on-going contract/grant management functions to oversee provider service performance and contract requirements. Serve as a primary contact between the Department and the service provider/program.


Review all contract/grant monitoring reports to ensure service delivery according to contract terms and conditions.


Communicate effectively with providers and provide technical assistance, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship.

Develop and maintain a contact/grant file for each contract and contract file maintenance review.

Coordinate the activation and implementation of contracted programs (onboardings).

Work with providers to ensure required documentation is submitted with invoices and process invoices.

Create requisition (PO) in AOD (MFMP) and submit invoices for approval.


Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.

Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following experience:

Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).

Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Program Monitoring and Management (PMM).

1 to 2 years of Contract Management/grant experience.


Knowledge and ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets using formulas.


SPECIAL NOTES:

This position requires travel for the purpose of overseeing provider performance and compliance.
