VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM

Pay for this position is $22-$25 per hour DOE

The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and keeping accounts accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling a high volume of transactions, communicating with customers regarding account balances, and managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will:

  • Prepare and process customer invoices
  • Post and reconcile payments, including ACH, wires, credit cards, and checks
  • Manage accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts
  • Make professional collection calls and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies
  • Process electronic deposits
  • Process credit card refunds
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and organized AR records
  • Prepare and maintain weekly metrics and reporting
  • Communicate regularly with customers and internal departments
  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with other accounting-related responsibilities as needed

Accounts Receivable Specialist candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable and/or accounting experience
  • Previous collections experience and comfort making collection calls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Solid mathematical and computation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
