Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting young learners in a dynamic school environment near Lynn, MA. This maternity leave coverage runs from the first day of school through November 25th, providing essential services to pre-kindergarten students in both integrated and sub-separate settings.

As a key member of a collaborative team, you’ll help children develop vital communication skills that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Your role will focus on delivering speech and language therapy, conducting assessments, and working closely with educators, families, and other specialists. This position specifically seeks expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), as well as experience with behavior management strategies to support diverse student needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Massachusetts
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous work in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Direct experience with AAC devices and interventions
• Strong background in behavior management practices
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy for pre-K students
• Implement specially designed instruction for integrated and sub-separate classrooms
• Complete screenings, evaluations, and progress reports as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, staff, and families
• Contribute to the development of IEPs and support student goals
• Utilize AAC and evidence-based strategies to foster student success
