Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient intakes and evaluations, discuss goals, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe appropriate therapies, educate patients on risks and benefits, and monitor progress closely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate physical therapy into the overall patient care plan.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and provide caregiver education for home safety and equipment use.
• Regularly review and modify therapy plans, ensuring compliance with quality care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional development through ongoing education.

Education and Experience

• Clinical doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Preferred minimum of one year of physical therapy practice experience.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in Washington State.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of therapy theories and clinical concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and exercising independent judgment.
