• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Keep detailed records of procedures, participate in training for new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining the laboratory's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment, following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Licensure & Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Must maintain current certification throughout employment.
