Quality Control Supervisor

Job Description Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Quality Supervisor to manage a team of quality inspectors through the manufacturing processes, fabrication, and production execution of spacecraft products. Daily tasking and prioritization will be provided by Quality Engineering Management. Our team is dedicated to building innovative solutions for the world's toughest engineering challenges. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of quality inspectors during manufacturing and production activities. Coordinate with other support teams to facilitate communication and resolve quality issues. Analyze technical procedures, reports, and engineering drawings related to manufacturing processes. Make real‑time processing decisions on the floor to maintain quality standards. Manage resources to meet cost, schedule, and quality parameters. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite. Experience with manufacturing process instructions (spacecraft preferred). Experience with measuring and testing equipment in a production environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage resources within a manufacturing environment. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. Ability to effectively assign, prioritize work tasks and make real‑time processing decisions on the floor. Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures, reports, and engineering drawings. Desired Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry). Superior people, leadership, and communication skills. Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes. Familiarity with Windchill, Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), SAP & Part, Materials, & Processes (PMP) & VECAMs. Moderate experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Good verbal and written communication, including technical writing. Experience working with EPDM, eWhiteboard, and VE CAMS. Work Location Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
