Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to obstetric patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergency situations and C-section circulating duties.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, and respond to obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the care team.
- Prioritize patient safety, document care accurately, and supervise or delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
- Support families with education and emotional needs related to labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
- Coordinate with physicians, CNAs, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care throughout the perinatal continuum.
- This position is represented by CNA and adheres to applicable policies and standards of nursing practice.

Requirements
- Active RN license (California) or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Experience in Labor and Delivery or OB/nursery settings preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Education: Nursing degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) from an approved program
