Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established protocols.
• Analyze test results for accuracy, identify potential errors, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection while preparing samples meticulously for testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures in detail, provide training for new staff or students, and ensure laboratory quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year from your date of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
