Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students, carefully evaluating their mental health challenges and identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, support groups, and family counseling tailored to the unique experiences of each student and their cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy to create impactful therapeutic experiences.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate measurable goals, strategies for intervention, and regular progress evaluations to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, school nurses, and mental health specialists to facilitate coordinated care for students.

• Provide crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety plans to address immediate mental health needs of students.

• Act as an advocate for students, helping them gain access to community resources and case management support, thereby empowering families to better manage their challenges.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness within schools and local communities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with a diverse student population, including children from various socioeconomic backgrounds. You will provide critical support to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. By offering culturally competent care and adopting a trauma-informed approach, you will help create a safe space for students to express themselves and seek help.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
