Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments that are age-appropriate and culturally sensitive, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and medical concerns of students.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on goal-setting and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, including mental health evaluations, progress notes, and suicide risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide crisis intervention services, evaluating immediate needs and connecting clients to appropriate local resources or healthcare providers when necessary.

• Engage in proactive communication with schools and families, serving as a liaison to facilitate referrals to additional community resources and support services.

• Collaborate with internal Quality Improvement teams to implement data collection strategies aimed at enhancing service delivery and overall mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Thrive Mental Health Services, you will primarily work with students, ranging from elementary to high school, and their families. Your expertise will play a vital role in addressing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues, while promoting resilience and coping strategies to empower children and adolescents.

Qualifications\n

• Must maintain a current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• At least three (3) years of post-licensure clinical experience is necessary, with a demonstrated track record of providing high-quality social work services.

• Solid understanding of counseling techniques, crisis intervention processes, and an ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits\n
