Position Description The Department of Mathematics at California State University Bakersfield accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part‑time lecturers. The applicant pool may be used to fill short‑term temporary lecturer positions across the campus, ranging from one day to a whole semester, on an as‑needed basis throughout the academic year. Minimum Qualifications Hold a master’s degree in mathematics or statistics. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the college level. Salary Lecturer AY (Range 2): $5,507 – $6,677 Lecturer AY (Range 3): $6,221 – $13,224 Lecturer AY (Range 4): $6,825 – $14,523 Lecturer AY (Range 5): $8,593 – $15,211 Authorization to Work Employment is contingent upon U.S. residence and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
