Junior Research Fellow

Role Description The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be responsible for the synthesis and characterization of materials with ultra-large pore architectures. The role also involves the preparation of homogeneously size-dispersed magnetic nanoparticles. Research activities will include organic synthesis, the synthesis of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), and comprehensive characterization using techniques such as NMR spectroscopy, FT‑IR spectroscopy, single‑crystal and powder X‑ray diffraction (SCXRD/PXRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and other relevant analytical methods. Comprehensive training in the required experimental techniques and instrumentation will be provided. Qualifications Strong research abilities, including literature review, data collection, and basic data analysis. Proficiency in academic writing, editing, and preparing research reports or manuscripts. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with faculty, peers, and project partners. Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks, maintaining research records, and meeting deadlines. Master’s degree in Chemistry Familiarity with research tools or software (e.g., reference managers, spreadsheets, statistical packages) is an advantage. Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research and commitment to ethical academic practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
