About the Position

Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital 30 minutes south of Jacksonville, Florida, that has an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 24-hour call
• Patient Volume: 30 per day
• Patient Population: Adults
• Duties: Emergency call coverage, inpatient and emergency department consultations, and operative coverage
• Required Procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic procedures, lung resections and emergency cardiac procedures, and management of thoracic trauma
• EMR: MediTech, Patient Keeper, eCW
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Additional Certification: DEA
• Paid travel & expenses
